Manchester Tank & Equipment Co. has been a trusted industry leader in the design and manufacture of steel and aluminum low-pressure DOT cylinders and ASME pressure vessels for the storage and transport of propane, chemicals, compressed air and other industrial applications since 1946. 

Headquartered in Franklin, TN, Manchester Tank conducts business throughout North America and the world. The company’s business is focused on the sale and manufacture of approximately 30 product families that are used in commercial, residential and industrial markets. Common uses include tanks for propane storage, forklifts, fire suppression systems, air compressors, chemical storage and refrigerant systems.

Today, our company remains dedicated to its long tradition of excellence and is committed to our vision of finding a better way. We do this by bringing value to our customers every day, seeking continuous improvement in everything we do, and being the best company to work for.

Based on The McWane Way Compass, Manchester Tank is dedicated to our parent company's (McWane, Inc.) philosophy first outlined by the founder J.R. McWane in 1920 encompassing integrity, competence, respect and fairness.
