Job Description

Join an expert staff of registered professional engineers, architects, surveyors, geodesists, cartographers, and data programmers skilled in all aspects of engineering, surveying, aerial photography, mapping & GIS projects. GRW Aerial Surveys, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Survey/Mapping/CADD Tech in Kentucky.

Geospatial services help pinpoint where things are (e.g., buildings, trees, bridges, rivers, etc.) on or above the ground. We locate and collect this data and then help clients see how they relate to one another by integrating and managing it. This position will assist project managers to create and edit CADD and GIS data to draw land and mapping plats.


Experience, skills, and qualifications should include:

  • Vocational certificate or 2-year degree in Civil Technology or related field preferred
  • Current Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or ArcGIS experience preferred
  • Knowledge of surveying, mapping, GIS, or LiDAR a plus
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with team members and other disciplines
  • High level of organizational & time management skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a demanding environment
