Full-time, Days
Provides health care services applying X-ray energy to assist in screening of breast disease. Performs breast imaging, bone densitometry, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
1. Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology.
2. Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
3. Current Postprimary Registry in Mammography (M) or eligible to obtain advanced registry within one (1) year of hire date.
4. Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
5. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
