Surgical First Assist Full Time
I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required
- Surgical First Assist facilitates the delivery of perioperative nursing care by assisting the surgeon in achieving desired surgical outcomes.
- Supports the surgery department by providing direct patient care, evaluating outcomes and adjusting nursing care process to adhere to legal, ethical, and clinical standards.
- Demonstrates the spirit of Baptist health Corbin values and standards through actions and speech.
- Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures and will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Graduate from accredited surgical technology program and Surgical First Assist Program
- Current state license/Certification
- Completed CFA/CSA through accredited program.
- CPR Certified
