Clinical Coordinator - ICU/CCU

Job Summary:

Under the direction of Unit Nursing Director, Clinical House Supervisor (CHS), +/or Designee, provides supervision of workflow and staff for a designated shift in overseeing the efficient functioning of the department. Assures the provision of safe, quality, connected patient care, by addressing performance, regulatory, risk management, patient, and family and physician issues/concerns, as appropriate. Role models caring behaviors in relationships with others. The Clinical Care Coordinator is an exemplar for competency, compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:

Certifications:

Active Kentucky RN license

BLS, ACLS and/or other designated unit specific certification training/requirements

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Experience:

Minimum of three years of Registered Nurse experience. Cardiac rhythm interpretation proficiency.
