At Foth, our is dedicated to supporting commercial and general aviation clients across the Southeastern and Midwestern US. As a Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in providing civil engineering and construction solutions for airside and landside projects at one of Kentucky's largest airports. From aircraft aprons and taxiways to buildings and utilities, you'll tackle diverse infrastructure challenges crucial to the long-term sustainability of our clients and major airports in the region.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative engineering design solutions for aviation projects, encompassing runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, NAVAIDS, stormwater management, parking, lighting, and pavement marking
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies and prepare technical design reports
  • Engage with clients in project meetings, contribute to proposals and presentations, oversee project management activities, liaise with regulatory agencies, and serve as a primary client contact
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration among team members and disciplines at all levels
  • Provide expertise in construction observation and administration services


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
  • Professional Engineer License in Kentucky or the ability to obtain within 12 months of starting
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software for design applications
  • 5-7 years of relevant design experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Previous experience in construction observation and administration
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Engineer License in Kentucky
  • 1-2 years of Aviation design experience with knowledge of FAA design standards (Remote candidates with a strong Aviation design background will also be considered)
