Position Objective:

The IT Manager - Applications manages a dynamic team in optimizing business processes through effective utilization of SAP systems and technologies. Responsibilities include overseeing a team of SAP Business Analysts, driving process improvements, managing system enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of SAP solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

* Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
* Serve as senior subject matter expert with content, processes and procedures associated with core business systems.
* Lead and mentor a team of SAP Business Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
* Control budget and report on expenditure.
* Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business processes and align SAP solutions to meet business requirements effectively.
* Manages projects and support utilizing SAP, BPCS/ERPLX (short term), Salesforce.
* Lead the planning, design, and execution of ERP solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
* Responsible for providing professional representation for activities which involve other IT Organizations and support Corporate data related policies.
* Works collaboratively on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC).
* Employs project management methodologies, delivering timely project estimates and plans.
* Directs IT strategic and tactical planning, business process re-engineering, and database system strategy.
* Maintains the IT portion of the Company's overall Disaster Recovery plan to minimize the risk of business interruption, data loss, or corruption of data created by a disaster scenario.
* Explore New Technologies for future planning.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
* Develop and deliver presentations to upper management.
* Successfully leads a geographically distributed team, and contributing to the success of other related teams in the organization.
* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Analyzes department workflow and employees job duties to recommend reorganization or departmental realignment within the company.



Requirements

Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university preferred; Computer Science or Engineering highly preferred;
  2. Minimum of 5-7 years of managing technology infrastructure projects;
  3. Strong expertise in SAP modules such as FICO,MM,SD,PP, and Project Systems;
  4. Proficient in SAP configuration, customization, and integration techniques;
  5. Knowledge of Agile or other project management methodologies is a plus;
  6. Excellent leadership, analytical, group facilitation, communication and management skills;
  7. Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of staff from clerical to executive management;
  8. Must understand current information technology with an ability to conceptualize solutions to business problems in the most effective and cost-efficient manner;
  9. Must be organized, a self-starter and must have ability to prioritize work;
  10. Excellent written/verbal communication skills (written and verbal English language proficiency is required).
