Position Summary:

Under direct supervision of the Physical Therapist, provides direct patient care to individuals with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in the outpatient and inpatient units. Assists patients in exercises and use of wheelchairs and other devices, and documents patient progress. Educates patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.

Education -

Associates Degree - Required

Graduate of Program Discipline - Required

Certifications -

PTA Licensure with the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy - Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
