Description
Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.
Qualifications
Required SkillsLicense:* Current license as a Physician Assistant by the State of Kentucky.
Certifications:* Current American Heart Association CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.* Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
