ABOUT THE JOB

x2 shifts: 4am - 12pm OR 8am-4pm

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve items from designated locations within the warehouse
  • Stock and organize inventory in an efficient and orderly manner
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
  • Follow all OSHA guidelines and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Package items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
  • Perform picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders
  • Load/unload trucks & rail cars
  • Test products to ensure high quality product is made to customer
  • Participate in emergency response
  • Prepare hazardous materials for DOT shipment
  • Batch Blending
  • IBC washing/reconditioning
  • Other duties as required

    ABOUT YOU

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required
    • Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) complex and/or technical operations and procedures in terms easily understood by non-technical operators required.
    • Ability to safely operate an industrial fork truck required
    • Ability to comply with all mandatory Environmental, Health, & Safety and process specific training and participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team in Level A PPE required.
    • Ability to achieve and maintain 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification required
    • Ability to lift 50-75-pound sacks on a regular basis required.
    • Ability to adjust to work schedule, including weekends and on-call, to meet business need

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
    • Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching, and pulling
    • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs and ladders
    • Ability to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves and a hard hat; chemical suits and a hair/beard net when required
    • Ability to safely operate an industrial forklift when required
    • Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements (for respirator use, SQF-certified environments, etc.)
    • Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
    • Willing to work around chemicals and industrial machinery
