Qualifications - External

The Senior Software Engineer is accountable for developing, designing and recommending innovative software solutions for interfacing or integrating business applications for medium to large projects, with a degree of complexity. Using senior level abilities and experience, the Senior Software Engineer will apply a strong knowledge of programming techniques, languages and computer systems to mentor or lead the work of others in more complicated design and programming requirements.

• 5+ years of hand on experience in design and development of OOP Java based or similar applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in design and development of web-based applications
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with REST API development
• Experience with GitHub
• Experience with TDD
• Experience working with Agile software development methodology
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server or Postgres preferred but not required
• Experience with JavaScript (ex. jQuery, DHTMLX) preferred but not required
• Experience with BDD testing (CucumberJVM) preferred but not required
• Elasticsearch, Kakfa, Spark preferred but not required
