Job Description

As a Director of Implementation, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the successful execution of projects, initiatives, and organizational changes. Your responsibilities will span various areas, including transition planning, implementation strategy, and team leadership.

  • Develop and set clear implementation goals and guidelines aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Create a roadmap for successful transitions, considering timelines, resources, and budget constraints.
  • Work closely with project managers, operations, and other stakeholders to map out detailed implementation plans.
  • Oversee, plan, and execute transitions (start-up, closeout, add-ons), process improvement projects, and other special projects working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Identify critical milestones, dependencies, and potential risks.
  • Leverage industry best practices and stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, recommending updates when necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
  • Address stakeholder concerns, manage expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide routine updates and formal reports to the VP and other internal parties as appropriate.
  • Provide written reports and updates for funder distribution upon request or as scheduled.
  • Identify process improvements needed and work across departments to implement necessary changes.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes and work collaboratively to design and implement such processes.
  • Facilitate implementation of change management initiatives, as assigned.
  • Identify and promote methods for improving service delivery and business practices through automation which may include customer technology tools and systems using artificial intelligence.
  • As a member of the service delivery team, may be called upon to assist with a multitude of projects and technical assistance requests in our operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred, or equivalent experience and education directly related to the industry and/or role.
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior leadership role is required.
  • Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Change Management certification is preferred.
  • Advanced user of MS Office products.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to envision the big picture and align implementation efforts with overall organizational strategy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey plans, updates, and expectations.
  • Leadership: Inspire and guide teams toward successful implementation.
  • Analytical Skills: Evaluate data, trends, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Change Management: Understand the people side of change and manage resistance effectively.

Other Requirements:

  • Current driver's license in excellent standing and proof of valid automobile insurance.
  • Personal creditworthiness to be eligible for corporate American Express
  • Must be willing to travel with limited notice - travel is not anticipated to exceed an annual average of 60%, but may vary significantly seasonally depending on need.
