Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary:
As Maintenance Supervisor for our client in Florence, KY, you will supervise and provide technical support and guidance to mechanical maintenance personnel at their manufacturing plant. This includes, but is not limited to, training of all team members, development of SOPs, and acting as quality control for complex repairs. We currently have openings for 2nd and 3rd shift.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Train, coach, and develop the technical base of mechanical staff, write SOPs, ensure quality of work.
  • Provide or assist production management in the provision of direction and supervision to the mechanical work force ensuring packaging operations attain maximum up-time with the highest level of quality. On occasion, act as a fill in for the production supervisor.
  • Participate in the design, layout, installation, modification and upgrading of packaging equipment.
  • Supervise daily packaging mechanics, assist in planning of the day.
  • Ensure effective maintenance procedures including preventative maintenance programs.
  • Manage, assist, or affect the procurement of new equipment or spare parts.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • High School diploma with post-secondary technical training, certifications, and equivalent experience.
  • At least 6 years' experience in technical or production capacity involving packaging equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
