Immediate Openings for Assistant Teacher PRNChild Development CenterJob Summary:
Floats from classroom to classroom as needed per Manager/Supervisor.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual's job. He/She may perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.
1. Assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
2. Follows assigned daily break schedule.
3. Must comply with State, Local and Federal regulations.
4. Must complete 15 ECE training hours annually.
5. Must exhibit good customer relations.
6. Must comply with BHE and CDC standards, policies and procedures.
7. Does not contribute to workplace gossip.
8. Respectful and courteous to all co-workers.
9. Remain alert to all children in the classroom and never leave children unattended.
10. Follows all closing procedures.
11. Assists in maintaining a neat and organized classroom.
12. Maintain confidentially of children and families.
13. Record attendance, medicine administration, meal counts, etc. as needed.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:
1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
2. This position may require you have First Aide or CPR certification.
