POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The Director of Cloud Engineering is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the Bank's cloud engineering team. They are responsible for managing and overseeing the overall security, reliability, and implementation of cloud technology and services to support the overall organization's portfolio of cloud solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum of 10 years previous experience in Information Technology, required.
* Minimum of 5 years previous experience in cloud technology, required.
* Experience with banking/financial services technologies and solutions.
* Experience in Information Technology architecture and governance, required.
* Experience with the following preferred:
* Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS
* Azure DevOps Pipelines
* Supporting Agile development teams

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions using various cloud platforms and technologies.
* Collaborate with and inform the Managing Director of Cloud and Data Center Strategy to drive the movement from traditional on premise data center operation to co located and cloud based infrastructure operation.
* Collaborate with other teams and external parties to align and implement cloud strategies and technologies.
* Lead the design and implementation of complex automated deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
* Design, document, and implement best practices and strategies supporting the cloud engineering team.
* Champion the implementation of DevOps strategies across various development teams.
* Design, implement, and monitor highly resilient systems supporting the Bank's deployed technologies.
* Design, document, and implement frameworks and controls to ensure compliance for cloud systems.
* Ensure regulatory requirements are accounted for in DevOps and Cloud practices designed, proposed, and in operation at the Bank.
* Know compliance responsibilities and particular requirements affecting your area of responsibility, incorporate these requirements into your business processes and procedures, perform ongoing monitoring and periodic self-assessments including reporting and corrective action as needed, and assure appropriate training to associates regarding these responsibilities and procedures.
* Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank's values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
* Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.
