Job Description:
- The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Team who has a thorough knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation in the management of cancer or other disease processes, with an expertise in developing optimal treatment plans.
- The Medical Dosimetrist is responsible for utilizing computer applications relevant to the treatment and quality assurance mechanisms regarding dose distribution, evaluation and research of treatment results.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Radiation Therapy program.
- Register by Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist.
