Registered Dietitian - Full-Time

Responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including screening, assessment, intervention, self-management training and/or education to provide high quality nutrition care to patients and clients. Ensures documentation complies with regulatory agency standards, assists with patient satisfaction and promotes positive relations with all our customers.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for documenting complete nutrition assessments in the medical record.
  • Follows through on meeting nutritional needs of patients through screening, supplements/nourishments, preferences, counseling, follow-up, etc.
  • Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family, and health care team members.
  • Counsels inpatients and outpatients on modified diets as ordered or requested
  • Assists Food and Nutrition staff with diet patterns, nourishments, preferences, and any diet related questions or needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree is required
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through Commission of Dietetic Registration required
  • Kentucky State Licensed Dietitian required.
  • Prefer a minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
