Responsibilities

  • Along with the Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that all guest rooms and common areas meet the high standards of cleanliness expected at Holiday Inn Bowling Green.
  • We expect you to train new housekeeping employees on our cleaning protocols, safety guidelines, and the proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • You shall conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to identify any areas for improvement or repair and coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely resolutions.
  • You will assist department head with managing inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as necessary while staying within budget constraints.
  • You shall address and resolve guest complaints regarding cleanliness or housekeeping services promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to Holiday Inn standards.
  • You will assist with implementing and maintaining a training program for housekeeping staff that emphasizes quality, efficiency, and safety, updating procedures as needed.
  • We expect you to collaborate with other departments, such as reception and maintenance, to ensure a seamless experience for guests and to uphold the reputation of Holiday Inn Bowling Green.

Requirements

  • You must have a thorough knowledge of housekeeping processes, including cleaning techniques and the use of chemicals and equipment.
  • You should possess excellent organizational skills to coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team effectively.
  • We expect you to demonstrate strong leadership abilities in guiding and motivating the housekeeping staff toward achieving operational goals.
  • You need to be adept at managing room inspection processes to ensure all guest accommodations meet Holiday Inn's standards of cleanliness and comfort.
  • You are required to efficiently manage inventory supplies, ensuring that the housekeeping team has all necessary tools and products to perform their duties.
  • We require you to maintain open and effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • You should have the capability to train new staff members on housekeeping protocols, safety procedures, and the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.
  • You must prioritize guest feedback regarding housekeeping services, using it as a basis for continuous improvement in service quality and team performance.
