The Material Planning Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory control, completing jobs in Radius, and updating pricing files.The Material Planning Coordinator will report to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory analysis of coated or inventoried products to ensure min/max levels are maintained to achieve customer needs.
  • Achieve the goal of > 98% OTIF through communication, tracking, and process improvement within the team.
  • Completion of slitter and coater jobs in the Radius system.
  • Forecasting demand versus capacity to maintain lead times at competitive market levels.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce risks of aged materials.
  • Quarterly pricing update and publication based on CDI.
  • Support a safe working environment and encourage a positive risk-free work environment.
  • Lead monthly physical inventory counts as required and assigned.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to input formulas, and perform analysis of data for accuracy, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with strong organizational skills; goal-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Must be able to work at a computer, sitting at a desk, and utilize phone, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc. daily to fulfill duties.
  • Must be able to move about in the office and plant in a safe manner; minimal travel to customer sites and facilities may be required.
