Your Job

SRG Global is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Morehead, KY!

We are seeking a quality engineering professional with a passion for customer focus and creating value through continuous improvement in product and process.

You will join a principled based team that continuously challenges the status quo. Collaborating with multiple functions within operations, development, and transformative capabilities to create mutual benefit.


What You Will Do

  • Lead in the development and implementation of process flow, control plans, PFMEA, and standard work for early product/process development
  • Develop quality planning process / documents
  • Act as a customer liaison for 8D submittals, quality alerts and corrective action implementation and verification
  • Set-up final inspection process including training and reporting structure
  • Support molding, plating, and assembly areas in problem-solving
  • Train and monitor daily plating inspection with defect mapping
  • Statistical analysis of inspection and dimensional data for improvement opportunities
  • Support new product designs to achieve targeted quality and productivity levels

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working in a Quality function in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control and PPAP
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge of IATF 16949
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • Experience working in the automotive industry
