The Summer Internship - Corporate Team position will support the Strategy & Acquisitions (S&A) team and provide essential support in the Company's procurement of new business. In addition to supporting the S&A team this position will also support other departments within the organization including Preconstruction, Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting and Office Management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attend the Monday morning S&A team meeting to prepare for the week ahead
  • Support the S&A team by organizing and updating proposal content materials
  • Create client qualification packages
  • Review all CFU Client Care reports, organize and document client quotes to be used for future pursuits
  • Input historical data into Dynamics
  • Support Business Development by inputting leads into Dynamics
  • Support Preconstruction by reaching out to Subcontractors to ensure coverage on active bid pursuits
  • Assist marketing with planning and organizing events and gifts for clients
  • Support Human Resources and Accounting with any organizational and filing needs
  • Support the office administrative team with preparing for internal events, shredding, and other office support needs
  • Attend and participate in an internal training that are pertinent to the Pursuit Intern role

Knowledge, Experience, and Special Skills Required

  • Proficient with InDesign, CANVA, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, including ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality control
  • Motivated self-starter; analytical; exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative
  • Possess a positive "can do" attitude and always maintain professional attire and behavior
