Every Workforce Investment Area in Ohio has a comprehensive One-Stop system that meets the minimum criteria set forth by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Ohio is committed to the implementation of one-stop service delivery for employment and training programs. Funding was received from the U. S. Department of Labor to help pay for the one-time implementation costs associated with the transition to One-Stop service delivery. The Hocking County Job Services Center serves as a flagship and model of exactly how a One-Stop should function within its community.

We are the new Employment & Training One Stop Center for Adams and Brown Counties in Ohio. One Stop Centers are located throughout Ohio and the United States for the purpose of assisting employees and employers.

The One-Stop delivery system is a system under which entities (One-Stop Partners) responsible for administering separate workforce investment, educational, and other human resource programs and funding streams collaborate to create a seamless system of service delivery that will enhance access to the programs' services and improve long-term employment outcomes for individuals receiving assistance.

Our mission is to promote economic growth and stability by delivering and coordinating workforce services to include: policy development, job placement, temporary income support, workforce information, and transition/training services.

The mission of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District is to provide a regional forum to local governments and citizens in order to identify issues and opportunities and to then provide leadership in planning and implementing projects and programs to improve the quality of life within the district.

CCWorks Employment & Training Center offers a variety of services to the community. We are able to assist area employers in finding and retaining employees. We are able to assist job seekers with resources for job openings, applications, resumes, computer access and career research as just a starting point.
