As the Consumer Lending Market Loan Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the sale and utilization of consumer lending's full suite of products and services through PNC's Retail Branch Distribution Channel.
* Build consumer lending product, process and sales acumen in partnership with RDC sales management teams through a train-the-trainer approach. * Collaborate as a key strategic partner with Market Managers, Market Sales Management and Product Management to define a tailored product and sales strategy for each market based on specific market conditions, including macro-economic, competitive and market capabilities. * Analyze market performance and develop strategies to optimize strengths and address development areas. * Serve as the escalation point for RDC leadership and sales management to resolve underwriting disputes and loan closing and fulfillment issues. * Assist with the development and execution of training and communications pertaining to promotional activities as well as product and process changes. * Leverage market expertise to recommend product and process enhancements as well as micro-marketing opportunities to Product Management and Operations in order to meet the unique needs and demand of the market. * Be required to travel: within the market to conduct branch visits and participate in market leadership meetings and to various operations centers for training and strategic planning activities.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance and/or Marketing * Strong background in and ability to apply complex analytics and business intuition to specific and strategic situations requiring counsel or decisioning. * A minimum of 7 years experience in retail banking, preferably 5 years in sales and service of consumer products, ideally lending. * Successful completion of a Credit Training Program at PNC, NCB or other financial institution or lending product management. * Over 5 years sales management experience with a successful sales track record * Over 5 years of credit experience - strong understanding of the full credit cycle * Proven track record for developing and executing successful sales and service training programs, preferably for retail lending products. * Ability to deliver training to small and large audiences. * Strong thought leadership and strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactical plans flawlessly * Strong analytic and problem solving skills * Creative, action-biased, results oriented; self-motivated, proficient in time management/prioritizations skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously managements/prioritization skills. * Must demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills. * Positive, team player. * Ability to articulate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in writing. * Strong customer-focus and bottom line orientation.. * Ability to analyze/synthesize data and take actions based on findings PNC is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer -- M/F/D/V/SO |
